Morocco is a safe place to visit. You just need to be aware of petty crime like pick-pocketing or bag snatching, particularly in the busy areas like the souks. It’s not really a crime, more of a scam, but watch out for people in the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, with Barbary monkeys.
